Meet Jenni
I am a professional artist with nearly 18 years of experience, beginning my career as an illustrator creating spreads and spot illustrations for children’s magazines, as well as illustrating a children’s book for a small publishing company. Early on, I also had the opportunity to serve as the lead artist on a children’s museum exhibit, designing and illustrating large scale wall art and elements of the interactive structures, an experience that sparked a lasting love for immersive storytelling through art.
Midway through my career, I shifted into a more independent fine art path, participating in multiple exhibitions and deepening my passion for painting from life. As I focused more deeply on painting from life, I’ve found myself becoming increasingly drawn back to illustration. Working observationally sharpened my eye for gesture, storytelling, and character skills that were at the heart of my early illustration work. Over time, those fine art practices began to blend with my illustrative instincts, leading me back to character driven imagery in a more personal, evolved style. Rather than feeling like a step backward, it felt like a full circle moment returning to my roots with new tools, confidence, and a clearer artistic voice.
After moving to Florida, I began painting outdoors in parks to reconnect with observational practice. That quickly evolved into painting characters within those environments, capturing the personality and magic unfolding within it. This unexpected direction has become a true dream passion: I’m having the most fun of my life creating these vibrant characters, sharing the stories retold through my style, and documenting my creative process through video.
My goals are to create work for Disney and Universal Studios, and to continue building a career in publishing, bringing playful, character-driven art to life wherever imagination is welcome.
